So much for that resolution! ha ha! Actually, I was really busy yesterday, so that is my excuse! I got some personal stuff done, good, and a project at work, knocked a lot of it out. Got my daughter's graduation announcements addressed. So exciting! Our friend came over last night, so it was one of those nights!
Today, got some potentially good news, not to much about that now, don't want to jinx it! actually, I don't want to get to excited and start counting on it going through, there are still some things that could make it a no go, and I don't want to get to excited to have my hopes dashed. Seems to be what happens lately. I was just talking to our friend and she said it is all in how you think. If you stress about bills, more show up, if you be thankful for what is paid, then you wind up with a few extra bucks. I am paraphrasing, and she was talking about herself. She recommended a movie called The Secret. Gonna see what it is about. She is right though. You need to be thankful for what you have, to attract more positive to you. Not sure how to manifest that in this instance, but Ill try!
Right now, I need to get back to the grind, my break is about over. I am listening to Mumford & Sons. REALLY DIG EM! If you haven't listened to them, give em a try. They are not for everyone, my Grrrl doesn't really like them. I think that she at least tried. She has heard them playing when I have them on, and such, but she and I have different taste, and that is OK. We are not the same person, otherwise the fact that we are so in love with each other would make us both egomaniacs! haha!
Ok, more tomorrow... I think that I will have pics of the garden stuff by then as well!

Garden Time Line Spring 2011
March 19 - planted strawberry plant & 2 tomato plants, different types
March 20 - I planted some crazy seeds in an old sun tea jar. It had a crack, so I had to repurpose it. I know what the seeds look like, but I don't know what they are called. They are pretty and grow in our courtyard. I think that if it really takes off it will be to big for my tea jar terrarium. Oh well, Ill move it if I have to!
March 22 - planted some mystery seeds in a homemade green house... pics to follow. It was way cooler in my head!
March 26 - My Trumpet Vine has leaves!!!! My Grrrl saw them first and called me to see! We were worried that they wouldn't come back after the crazy cold snap we got in Feb.
March 27 - I have buds on the grape plant! Even the piece that fell off the main plant and I put it in water. Now, my Grrrl and I are going to find a good place to plant it and have a new "vineyard"
March 28 - I don't think that I saw anything new yesterday.
March 29 - Nothing yet, it's only 11 am though!

New Resolution
My new resolution is to blog everyday. I will even put it in my to do list, which I live by... So, we'll see...
Good Grief!
I haven't blogged in over a month. I guess I am not as serious about this as I would like to think? It could also be that I have been crazy busy! I haven't even journaled in my personal journal in like a week, and before that it was about a week then too...
So, let's see. Went to Texas to see my family with my sister and my kiddos. That was a busy, and short trip. Glad that I got to see everyone, wish it had been longer, but there times that I can only deal with my family for so long, and in this case, I mean my kids. They got bored and started getting on each others nerves, and mine, in a short matter of time. We did have fun though! We played cards with Aunts & Uncles and Gramma. Those are some of the best memories of my childhood, and I hope that they got a taste of it for their happy memories of childhood.
I like my new job. I am a bit isolated here in my dark cave, but hopefully that will change when my new boss is right next door. I am a people person, and short of the patient satisfaction surveys that I do, which for some reason, I don't like to go do... I don't get out much. My grrrl is right, I need to go sit outside once in a while. They are building a nice outside sitting area, I should take advantage of it!
I have become addicted to farmville again, there, I said it... But I can quit anytime... hehe!
My grrrl and I have a new friend, and it is nice to have company so often. We actaully seem to be doing more stuff, now that she is around. That part is kinda sad, that it took her as a catalyst, but whatever it takes, right? We went to see a movie Friday night, that was nice. It was at the dollar theater. Not the greatest, and not even a dollar anymore. It is kinds strange that we went there, I could NEVER get her to go there, but that is where we went. Who knows why that is? Because that is where our friend suggested ( or did I suggest it? ) or is the economy finally hitting our ( mostly nonexsistant ) going out budget?
My Nana is in a rehab hospital after falling and breaking her collarbone and banging up other stuff about 10 days ago. That stinks on ice. She is so sweet and it is not fair.
My van is not registered, long story short, my ex is a douche, and so we have to rely on my grrls car, which died on Saturday. So now, we risk it when we drive the van, which is not often.
My son and I ride the bus to work / school, it is full and most of the time we have to stand part of the way, but I dont even care. It is free for me, cheap for him. And, super bonus, it is good for the planet.
My grrrl had to go away right as I got back from Texas, MAJOR SUCKY TIMING! We had all kinds of fun planned for us, the kids, and our new friend. Not to be. She had to be alone for a week in Denver. Skype was her only way to see a friendly face. That was horrible. I got some stuff done around the house, because I can't sit still while she is gone.
Well, I was on a roll, and I got distracted, and now I am not.
I'll blog more later ( famous last words ) when I remember what else I wanted to say. I got lots of stuff done, and my grrrl got the carpet torn up in the hall way and got tile put down. TOTALLY AWESOME she is!
