Again, no blog today, yesterday...went to work, My Grrrl took me out to lunch! Awesome. We got some stuff for her FB boyfriends baby. That was nice. Had to go meet with my boss, then went home and spend some quality time together... Then more shopping, sheets and snacks! We tried to watch Rango, but I crashed, then so did she. Maybe we'll try earlier tonight?!
On my way to work right now. Need to actually get some stuff done today! It feels like I haven't gotten anything done, but I have been working my butt off, all but lunch yesterday!

Crappy weekend that has a good end
Don't wanna go into details...Friday night, our so called friend decided to say some shit to try and end my marriage. I am ashamed to say that I did not believe My Grrrl right away...I have been burned so many times in my past, not an excuse but an explanation.
I threw a fit, finally got to tell that witch that I never wanted her, that felt good. My Grrrl seems to finally completely understand how much I hated the whole situation...and we cut all ties with her. ALL TIES ARE CUT! We will have NOTHING to do with her.
My Grrrl and I are now in a titanium bubble. No interlopers.
On another note...Thursday my little girl turns 18. Feels like a big deal, but less than others might think. She is already so grown up, most of the time!
We are getting a hotel room next weekend, and she and her friends are getting two and that is her party. I have a bad feeling that it is not going to go the way she wants. I know how she is, like me...big plans, big let down... :(
It is barely 7:00, The Other Guys is on, and I am awake, WHY? My head hurts, gonna jump in the shower, take some exedrine and maybe play some Sims? My plan for the time My Grrrl was over was so play the Sims all the time! Lol, that didn't happen, lots of interruptions. I sewed too, I cleaned up, and am still working on, cleaning the garage, AKA my sewing suite, lol!
I made a messenger bag, the front is to big, not sure how else to describe it...I have to super fill it so it doesn't fall to far in front... I don't wanna fill it so full, to heavy? First attempt, not to bad. Both of the girls want it! Cant give it to either, i only have one...that would cause bad things! I think that I have Xmas gift ideas for each of them now! Lol.
I guess I better get on the Yule prep! No notebooks this year, iPad awesomeness this year! Lol
Gonna jump in the shower now, head hurts like crazy, up way to early, didn't get tonged until late... But My Grrrl comes home today so I am to excited to sleep!!! <3

Went to work way early. SO TIRED! It is not even 8, and I am in bed already!
I was able to make 14 toilet paper tube "firelogs" at work, woohoo, have the supplies to do more, not a bad use of my lunch half hour. Made big ones tonight, lots, until my back hurt so much I had to stop. I finished off two small bags of shredding, and almost all of the big bag. Lots of supplies I can use at work, so yeah for that.
Got the kitchen cleaned, went out to get myself a snack, well dinner, actually. And here I am. I was able to get the steps to get my work email on my iPad. Not sure if that was a good idea or not, we shall see in the long run. I can, of course, turn it off. Might do that on weekends. Defiantly on vacations!
Today is craft day. There are, as always, lots of things I want to do, to start, etc. But I am so tired right now I can't even think. I have yarn and a hook in my bag, I might crochet a little while I am at Cara's appointment tomorrow.
I hope they actually get something done about her wrist tomorrow. This has been a long time coming...
I got bad news today, My Grrrl is coming home a day later than expected. I miss her so bad... Ugh.
Good news though, the NFL lockout is over is so I hear...

Well, today is re-purpose or die day...
Yesterday I put the bird seed that comes in a bag into the plastic container that the first kind we got came in. So, re purposed that.
I worked on cleaning the garage, to re purpose it into my sewing room... This weekend at the library I got a book that is supposed to make it easy to learn crochet... I know some stuff, always want to know how to do more! Then I can re purpose all of that yarn into stuff!! I have TONS of projects going. I want to finish My Grrrls blanket, but it is to hot to take it out, since it is so big! Maybe I will just work on it as it gets colder, and we can cuddle under it as I work! LOL!
I am listening to Pandora. I am hearing a song that I heard done by Reba first, now Beyonce is doing it. Is that a re purposing? LOL! If it is, I didn't do it, so...
Tonight, it is just me and the man child, I do believe. The girls both have plans until after 7:00. So, I will leave work a bit early, we will go home, he and I, and maybe I will set up the station in the garage to make the newspaper fire logs. That is a re purpose!
I really miss My Grrrl. We talked on FaceTime last night, that was nice, I can't wait to do it again! She has the best smile when she is smiling at me!
Well, I guess that is it then. Back to the grindstone as it were!

Went to see Harry Potter 7.2, then we went to lunch with bug and then kids. Came home, fought with My Grrrl. I cleaned my room, cleaned u garage, still working on it. Making up with My Grrrl now. Want to go to bed early. Have issues with how to drive to and from work tomorrow, and for the rest of the week, ugh...
Head hurts, just want to get the kitchen cleaned, and go to bed!

Sunday, July 17th.
Going to see Harry Potter 7.2 today with the kids, then home to soak in the pool for a bit, then to clean my room, maybe the garage a bit, just some cleaning up so that when My Grrrl comes home, house is not a disaster area for her to come home too!
I also need to plan our trip to the cabin for when. She gets back. That will be lots of fun!
Back to work tomorrow, yeah, kinda, but mostly really, yeah. I love my job! I would love a week off, don't get me wrong, but just the same...
Well, gotta go get ready for Harry Potter!!!! My Grrrl and her dad are seeing it in a hour! Tonight we Skype about it! Woohoo

First, I would like to say, that Pandora misses the mark by leaps and bounds with some songs... That is all about that!
Now, as for the rest of the day. I am beat. I am tired as hell, but at least I am outta here in 5 minutes! I have to go get Cara from Socorro, and then there is not much point in coming back, even if I worked kinda late, I would still have to come back tomorrow, so I may as well just come in tomorrow and be done with it!
So, there is that.
I am out, have a good weekend, no promises of weekend blogging. OH MAN, I still forgot to put those pics of the garden on the blog. Ok, I will do it when I get home tonight.
There, it's on my todo list!

There may be more later, who knows, I have no news on the "Crafting Front", so this may be it for the day...
This is from a rant on facebook I just had...
I don't understand how who I marry is any one's business but mine, ( and arguably, the person that I marry ). There is a separation of church and state, and if I want to marry someone, I don't have to get married in a church. I didn't get married in a church when I married a boy... Why I can't I get married to a girl at the courthouse? Ok, I am ranting now... but seriously, if marriage is indeed for the purpose of creating children, then, infertile couples should not be allowed to marry? Or My Grrrls uncle that married this weekend? They are past child bearing age, should they not be allowed to be happy? I just want to make the statement to the world that "this is the person that I want to spend my life with". But I suppose that too is not really anyone's business but ours, except when we want to share our happiness with our family and friends...?
Again, ranting...Bottom line, why is my "pursuit of happiness" any less important or valid than a straight person?

Also, I would like to say that I am thankful that most, if not all of my friends are kind hearted people!

What a day! Head is aching, stoopid sinus infection! Should have stayed in bed today, but alas, the world falls apart if I try! LOL.
My step mother in law had surgery today, she is out now, and recovering well. I am glad to hear this. I still miss My Grrrl, and wish she was here, but whatcha gonna do!?
Drama last night, but in the light of day, it is not worth mentioning, so I won't anymore than that.
Today is garden day. Dang it! Pics are on the home computer. Ill upload them later. We have a hugely ridiculous zucchini, or would that be ridiculously huge zucchini? Its flipping huge! Marie is all ready to make fried zucchini. We'll see... I found a few more pumpkin babies last night, three total, and I also found STICKERS ON STEROIDS!!! Not sure if I got pics of them, Ill get some tonight and post them all later. They are HUGE... Literally, a goats head the size of an actual goats head...maybe I am exaggerating a little?! Maybe...
This is day is dragging... I wanna go home. My head hurts, I wanna get into my jammies and lay down. Can't, kids. I wanna get in my jammies and sit in my chair. That I can do. But I can't leave just yet... I'm going to have to come in on Saturday anyhow, I might as well make it worth the trip. not just an hour, that seems like a waste of the drive, etc...
OMG, it's only 3:30. Time to take a potty break and get a drink... Empty and refill as it were!

Went to LoboCare today. I saw an AWESOME NP. I have a sinus infection. Still feel poopy. On the road to recovery! Today is repurposed day... Today I will repurpose my bed into a healing center! Lol Actually, tonight I will clean out my "office" which is actually a drawer in a buffet that we use as a TV stand. Two things repurposed. I will do this, clean my office, as I monitor my son on his Wii exercise time... Who would think that I have to make him play on the Wii! Lol
Time to take My Grrrl to the airport. :( super sad face... I will miss her like crazy, but I hope to keep busy doing stuff around the house. Gonna make paper logs. Another repurposed thing, more on that later.

Don't know when the last time I blogged was... This weekend was lost in a haze. Yesterday sucked... I was dizzy and nauseous and last night I had a KILLER headache. I took 4 showers just trying to calm the pain. WTF man! That was terrible. I am still not that much better today. Still kinda dizzy, but mostly only when I stand up. Yesterday the room was spinning, while I was in bed, the whole house! Today, it is just me. Not as nauseous today, but my head still hurts. I can only take so much medication or Ill make myself sick.
Wow, listen to me, pity party much!? I could go home, I mean my boss has said so, but I don't want to waste my sick hours, and honestly, what good would going home do? If I sleep today, Ill be twitchy tonight, like I was today. So I suck it up and carry on. I am going to miss hours tomorrow taking My Grrrl to the airport, something else I am NOT looking forward to. Her being gone, that is. And Friday, I will miss the whole afternoon going to get Cara from Socorro. Blah.
Our friend is supposed to come over tonight. To talk, to see My Grrrl off, not sure. Don't really want to have "a talk". There is not much to say. I mentioned something, and now everything seems to be in a whirlwind again ( this is mostly my headache talking ) I did not in anyway mean that I wanted to start things again, just that I can't help that I think about it sometimes and get excited. Bottom line is that I don't want that for me. I am trying really hard not to feel like because My Grrrl talks about it to me, that she is trying to push me, I do feel that way a bit, but I don't think that she means to, I think that is my "need to please" kicking in. Either way, I can't let myself go down a path that I DON'T want.
Anyhow, head is killing me again, maybe some more water and lunch would help!
That is all for now. Wait, today is Foto Fun day. Well, I have not taken many pictures lately. I have taken some on my iPad. Not that impressed with them, not like what I get with my other camera. Good Grief, I don't even remember what it is. I think that it is a Cannon, but I am not sure... WOW, that sucks! haha

So, it is WAY early, and I am at United Blood Services with Cara. She is going ton try to give blood today! I say try, because out of three attempts, I have only been able to do it once. Could be my gastric bypass in 2003, or the complete lack of veggies in my diet!? Anyhow, gonna keep it up. Steak dinners each night before we donate! Good excuse for a steak dinner! Lol
So, busy day today. This blood deal, then Cara's therapy, then rest, then Uncle Carl's wedding at 5:00. Not looking forward to it. Well, take that back. I am looking forward to getting out with My Grrrl, as an adults, no kids, of ours that is. Might be nice. We will see I guess. If not, I'll come, have a borst and a blintz, and get in the pool! LOL

So, yesterday was NOT the 7th, today is. That just goes to show how busy and out of it I was yesterday! Work was crazy busy, catching up!
After work, I rode the bus home, about half way home, Marie got on the same bus, that was nice. Then we got the stop and My Grrrl and our niece were there waiting. Went home, my brother in law was there. Then Marie and I went to get Robert and we bought TONS of fruits and veggies. We all need to get into better shape.
Went home, Marie started dinner while w put away the groceries, and last night, as a last treat, we ate the only unhealthy thing left in the house ( sort of ). We had frozen burritos and chimichanugas ( I have no idea if I spelled that right! ) While dinner was cooking, we cleaned the pool, got it started filling. My Grrrl got back from her grammas, we talked, it was nice and relaxing. We, as a family, minus Cara since she is at Tech during the week, and her cell phone charger is MIA, have decided that we are going to do our own version of the biggest looser. Our friend even loaned us her copy of the biggest looser for the Wii. We all did time on the Wii Fit last night, that is how we all weighted in, and are going to weigh in once a week ( My Grrrl will have to phone in her weight :( next week ) Anyhow, not sure what the deadline is, but I think that it should be the week before school starts. Who ever has lost the most, wins. I think we decided on a $20.00 gift card to the place or online store of the winners choice. Rob wants DS points, who knows what the rest of us want? I would be happy with a Hobby Lobby card! So, today, I had A baby carrot on the way out of the house. I had some water, 2 big glasses so far today. Here is the down fall though. I brought all of the left overs from last night. SO,today I have had 4 chimichanugas. Ugh. But, I walked to the bus stop. Shaved 2 minutes off of my walk. I also have made more trips out of my cave today. mostly to the bathroom! LOL
So, today is craft fair update. I will tell you this... I have TONS of ideas, and no real follow through. I don't know if we will even enter the craft fair, or if I will just make gifts for my friends and family. I do have a crocheted coin purse type thing that I started a while back in my backpack. Ever hoping that I finish it, it is at the very bottom, and with my iPad so readily available to do everything except actually produce crafts for me, it is highly likely that it will get ignored once again. And twice again for that matter! I have come to terms that I am a better planner than a carry through-er... A little confused at the universe as to why my dream job ( a job that would be right up my alley ) went to someone who is SO disorganized? It's not as if I applied for it, I don't even think that she did, I think that it just happened. I'm just saying...I don't get it. I am sure that the universe has something in store for this scenario. Even if I don't understand... I just hope that this doesn't backfire and bite anyone in the arse!
Anyhow, there we are, some craft fair update. Some joking about how I got the date wrong and some venting... I feel better, back to surveys! UGH :/
Happy Thursday all, the weekend is almost here! :)
After work, I rode the bus home, about half way home, Marie got on the same bus, that was nice. Then we got the stop and My Grrrl and our niece were there waiting. Went home, my brother in law was there. Then Marie and I went to get Robert and we bought TONS of fruits and veggies. We all need to get into better shape.
Went home, Marie started dinner while w put away the groceries, and last night, as a last treat, we ate the only unhealthy thing left in the house ( sort of ). We had frozen burritos and chimichanugas ( I have no idea if I spelled that right! ) While dinner was cooking, we cleaned the pool, got it started filling. My Grrrl got back from her grammas, we talked, it was nice and relaxing. We, as a family, minus Cara since she is at Tech during the week, and her cell phone charger is MIA, have decided that we are going to do our own version of the biggest looser. Our friend even loaned us her copy of the biggest looser for the Wii. Holy Cow is it Wednesday already!?
Yes, yes it is. July 7th, 2011 it is.
I have not blogged in a while, almost a week now it has been. We went to Denver to visit my in-laws for the fourth of July. It was nice. We did lots of fun stuff. We went to Elich's, played in the water park. TOTAL BLAST. We went to dinner at this awesome place where they cook at the table... STEAK AND LOBSTER baby...We went and saw Transformers 3 in 3D, at the IMAX theater... OMG!!! We spent quality time and at times the time was like a prison sentence... The kids were terds is the best way to say it. They fought with each other, the oldest one roller her eyes so often and so hard, I thought that she might throw out a socket!
I am glad to be home is all I can say!
My office is NOT any cooler...UGH...
Let's see. Monday is Foto Fun day. I think that I still owe you pics from last week? Ill look back at it and see. And Tuesday is? Re purpose or die day? I made skirts out of bed sheets, does that count? It does? Good. Ill post those pics too, later. Today is Wednesday. Garden Day! Well, again, I have no pics, but we have zucchini! And the pumpkins are taking over! Some of the sunflowers are taller than me now! I have a plan for next year. Only one row of pumpkins...MORE CORN, less sunflowers. More maters... no taters... and I am going to buy 2 grape plants next spring. Plant one in the corn corner, and one where the taters are now, and put up more chicken wire along the wall... Wait, that might not work. That might get to hot... OK, new plan. Feel the wall when I get home, see how that is... If it is OK, the plan stands. If not, then I will build the stands like they have in vineyards to grow them in the last two rows. More shade there. Corn will be in all of the beds next to the wall, and other stuff will be in the rest.
OK, there you have it...
Better get back to it. TONS of billing to catch up on from my vacation. The only thing that stinks about vacation is that all my work is there waiting when you get home! LOL!!!
