Last day of September! Woohoo!
I am not feeling 100% today. I have that "perfect tired" that means that I could take a nap on my office desk. That perfect tired, that I associate with being ill in 7th grade, and getting up for school, laying down on the couch, and being lulled back to sleep by the sound of my mother riding the exercise bike. Not sure why that is the thing that it brings back. That, and being able to roll over on the couch, listen to the TV, and not even knowing when I fell asleep, just knowing that I was in the best sleep ever. THAT is what I want for me right now!
At least I get off somewhat early today, and that will be nice!
No more to write at this point, I am going to get back to it, I have a lot of updates that I want to make in my files! That is where my happiness lies today, well, either there, or in a nap on my desk! :)

Busy day, no long blog today. Got some stuff for secret projects done, and got lost of work done. A productive meeting and the such... About to head out, not as early as I had hope... :( Oh well, early is good, almost out!
Almost done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on my iPad! Then I can listen to The Happiness Project. I will restart it, so I can out of it as much as I can! I can always re listen to it, so... :)

Busy day once again. At least I drove today, that way I don't have to deal with the bus! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the free ride to and from work, but I like driving once in a while. I like the freedom! I like being able to listen to music, even if there is nothing on any channel on the way in, because of "morning radio". The afternoon is a bit better, but there is still to much talk!
Big project today, almost done, just a wrap up meeting tomorrow to go over the research that I have done over the last two days. Hopefully, it will be good enough, and that will be that. Alas, there may be follow up research, but it is a small price to pay for such an amazing job!
Well, back to it. I have an upset tummy, I used some Bert' Bees almond paste on my hands while I worked today, but the smell of it really gets to me... Ick! It works wonders, but it is too big of a price to pay for the result... my head hurts and I feel like I'm going to be sick. Yuck! Maybe washing my hands will help. I'll try that...

Busy day, crazy projects. Busy work, but I am trudging along...
Just found out that a lady I used to work with died this weekend. She was usually grumpy, but she was one hell of a HUC. I can't say that I will miss her as I had not seen her in months, but I am spooked today at hearing the news...

It is almost October! Holy Cow! That is awesome and kind of scary! Today has been busy busy busy. Better than being bored...
I have decided to move my Yule notebook back into my iPad. On a personal level, that is really all that I have done!
I have some projects going. Got a few things done this weekend, love that.
My boss has someone in her office. Might be several someones... Lots of cackling! HOLY COW THAT IS ANNOYING! LOL
I feel some what toxic. My head hurts, but nothing terrible, I just don't want to be in this office right now, I think that has the most to do with it!
I bought an audio book today, something that My Grrrl started to read when I checked it out but never touched it. She said that I would like it, and that I needed to read it, well I can't seem to read and stay focused or awake anymore, so I got the audio book. Yeah for me, I am listening to Harry Potter 7 right now, might have to stop though...
The cacklers are leaving now, so back to work now that it is quiet again!

Did all the normal Saturday stuff. Went to Ro's party. Then all went to hell. Nothing is better, everything sucks. I just want to sleep, so after my shower and TV time with the kids, that is what I will do.
All of this BS is getting old and I don't see an end or improvement in sight, that makes me incredibly sad...
Off to shower, maybe that will make me feel better...

Payday! Got to go in late today! Went grocery shopping with My Grrrl. Then we went on a thrift shop date! Love those! Lots of good finds as well! Love that even more!
Getting lots done today! Been one of those good days. Would be better if I was at home with My Grrl getting personal things done. Today is Mabon, the fall holiday. Not sure exactly what that means.. I really should, don't you think? I know that today is the first day of fall, today is the celebration of the summer past and the coming fall, the light and the dark. I prefer the dark! I think that today would be not wasted if I was harvesting the garden, and getting rid of the deadness in it.
Anyhow, maybe Sunday. Tomorrow is Saturday, lots going on, always is. Cara has a blood donation appt, then to the bank to order checks, then take stuff to a goodwill drop box, then to Cara's therapy, while she is there, the library, then to Nana's, then rest! Tomorrow night, is a get together at a co-workers that I am most excited about! Cara has a clean up at the stadium at 9:00, PM, that's right, PM... then to bed... Oh crap, I am tired just thinking about it all!
Well, I better get back to it! Not very exciting, sorry for it! LOL

Today should be craft fair update day. I have defiantly decided that I am NOT doing the craft fair this year. I have to much on my plate, don't need or want more pressure. So, I am just making things for family. I made my mom that lamp. I think that I posted pics of it already? I made a crochet Christmas tree for my step mother in law, who loves Christmas tress. Year before last My Grrrl made her an amazing tree out of an old plant pot, and ornaments that were her Gramma's. It was sentimental and awesome! This year, we are EACH making her something. She was born on Christmas, so there you go. I wanted to make Dumbledor's wand for my father in law, but I think that he would prefer the real thing ( as real as a muggle can get, that is... )

Allergies are kicking every one's butt. I thought that I was getting sick, but alas, I am pretty sure it is just allergies. Wish I was getting sick, at least you can get better, allergies, you just have to suffer. I can 't take meds, most of them make me loopy! Oh well, such is life.
Last night I had bad dreams, they woke me up and then when I went back to sleep, they followed me into the next dream, not cool. But, My Grrrl took good care of me. She was there for me at every stoppid incident. What a lucky girl I am! <3

Well, today is Tuesday. I think that it is re purpose or die day? Yes, indeed, it is. So, I will discuss something that I made for my daughter for Xmas. I took an old frame, rectangle it is. First, let me note that I got it at a thrift shop in Va over 7 years ago, so it was re purposed already... I printed out about 30 pictures of my daughter from the span of her life. I spelled out her name in block letters, and I cut and pasted the pictures of her to spell her name. My Grrrl outlined her name in thick sharpie and we embellished the whole thing with stickers! My Grrrl is going to paint the frame, and there you go!
I am doing something like that for my son too. He has an eye condition called "Morning Glory Disc Anomaly". That is not the medical name, but I cannot remember the medical name. From what his eye doctor says, he is darn lucky to be able to see, and even now he has some issues with that eye "going out"... Anyhow, the last eye visit we had, the doctor took a picture of his eye, and they gave us the picture on a flash drive. Crazy stuff! Anyhow, I am printing that pic up for him and putting it in a painted re purposed frame. That will be a good gift for him, weird and creepy! LOL
Here is that pic, after I have run it through the scrapbook app I love so much!

Another Kronos Monday... Yeah?!
Busy day, got a lot done, so that is good. Feeling better, but still not 100%. Tonight, we will have dinner and head to bed early. EVERYONE!
I am excited about a lot of things, but I am also nervous about them, I don;t see how I am going to get everything done, you know? Ever have moments like that?
Today would be Foto Fun Monday. Let's see what I have...I have not personally picked up the camera in a while. I can find... Here we go..

This is the flower that occurs on the Okra plant. They are GORGEOUS! I am sad that this is the only one that I ever got to see this year. I will keep my eye out next year. That would be wonderful pressed!
Got to meet in person one of the ladies in HR that I talk to on the phone all the time. Turns out her partner is an RT that I used to work with at Pres. SMALL WORLD, RIGHT?
It's almost fall. YEAH! Can't wait... does that mean it will automatically be fall weather!?

Wow, the month is more than half way over. HOLY COW where does the time go?
Today we took Cara to get her splint off, that went well. Dr. Mercer said it looks great. They gave her a brace and there you have it. She will be stiff for a the next few weeks, she needs to exercise it, but not over do it.
I am SO tired today. I am pretty sure that I am getting sick. My throat hurts, my head hurts, my everything hurts... UGH, I hate being sick. This weekend, all that I am going to do is go see Nana, and I may have to bail on that one, if I have a fever or cough.
We are working on a desk redo.. And when I say we, I mean My Grrrl! LOL. It looks great and I am sure it will look better after it is painted. Then we can put it in the living room, and it will be better all around in there. The desk is smaller and it has drawers. The current one is to big, with no drawers... See??? Better!
Well, I am going to go, today is Kronos precheck and I am so tired and loopy that it is taking twice as long than normal...That last phrase doesn't sound right, Sorry if it is worded poorly...

Busy day, glad it's over. Cramps from he'll. Gonna go home, have a yummy dinner, and go curl up with the heating pad and tonight's episode of Big Bang Theory, and then the last ever LA Ink...might work on that crochet project I discussed...I think that I have a good handle on it....can't wait to see what all I can do with it! Lots of possibilities!

Spent the morning at the doctors office with Cara. She hurt her hip and leg last night, she is fine, muscle strain is all.
Back at work. was able to get the BlogPress to work with my family tree blog again. Awesome! I started posting pages in it. I am starting with my Dad. I already did myself... Anyhow, I have found so much good info on that site, I really am thankful that I found it and that there are such kindhearted volunteers who take the pics... I volunteered too, We'll see if I get any requests...
I am tired, I am loopy, I am happy to have had a nice night with My Grrrl last night. I am happy to have another tonight... Last night, she worked on a desk she is sanding, and I worked on my family tree. It was so nice just to sit outside in the cool evening and enjoy just each other's company. She said to me that she is happy that we can be together working on our separate projects ( those were not her exact words, but the point is the same ) and she is right. It is nice.
I was working on something that I started last winter. I have picked it back up and was working on it. It was NOT working well, however, being as super smart as I am... I figured out how to take what I have made (by mistake ) and make it work to my advantage! Ah ha! Anyhow, can't say more than this... it is for Xmas, and I now have a super long list of people that I want to make these accidental treasures for! We will see how many I can get churned out... LOL
This is turning out to be a long day, and tonight we bake!!! The Amish Friendship bread that my momma in law gave us! I am SO excited to see how it comes out!

Found the best FREE website last night for my family tree project! There is a site that will look up graves, and then from there, people add info about the family. I have found my great- great-great-great-great grandparents on my fathers fathers side. and one generation less on my fathers mothers side! HOLY COW!!! I have so much info, I don't even know where to start to enter it all. I even have siblings ( My aunts and uncles) and spouses.
I am very excited.
Tonight is open house at Rob's school... Not sure how I feel about that.. I'm so tired.
Gotta go, wanna make an early escape!!!

Today is the 10th anniversary of the attacks on America. We have been watching "specials" since friday, night, and I am all cried out...
I have been up since 6:30. Got Robert read for a race he ran with his aunt. He did a 5K, 37:35. Not to shabby. Then I got some other stuff done. Submerged fire logs. Fixed the bookcase door on Roberts door. Worked on my moms lamp. Oh, in should get pics! I will, post em tomorrow.
I also got pics out of Picassa to make more scrapbooks pages in my favorite new app! I'm going to make some pages and have them printed to give as gifts. I also found some pages that I made before, but are not in a book.
Today has been a somewhat lazy day, but not stressful, a good day. I will miss this tomorrow...

Sitting in on a meeting that I usually come to for minutes taking, but there is a presenter, so I have nothing to do... Can't even eat lunch, because My Grrrl is taking me on another date after this. Dang, I'm lucky!
Nothing much going on at work either, so I can get caught up on stuff. That is awesome.
Not much to write today, I am stoked about this weekend, it is cooling off, so I can get in my sewing room and get some fun stuff done. I have worked on my Yule book, and I am stoked about that too. Looks like I have the whole thing under control... On paper, as always, on paper I do!

Long day, mostly good. Had a lunch date with My Grrrl, that was awesome. Bus ride home sucked, Creepy guy with bad teeth hitting on me, hate that... From now on, headphones on, and I'm standing rather than sitting next to any creepy looking guy...
French toast and bacon for dinner, visit with my mom, not to terrible. Now, in bed with My Grrrl, watching football, kinda, about to start working on assembling the hardcopy of my family tree book. Maybe work on Marie's gift a little...

All I can really say about today, is that going back to work after a week off, BLOWS! I love my job, but I won't lie, I'd rather be at home with My Grrrl and My Crochet! LOL
Oh well, at least it is a short and easy week! Can't complain to much!
Started my Yule 2011 "guidebook" as it were! I have pretty much all of this info in my iPad too, but I want it on paper. There is something to be said about "writing it down". With all of the pretty pens and such that I have... I organized a "portable stationary" area... haha, just realized how funny that is!
Well, that is about all there is to mention at this moment in time! Gonna get back to it!

With all of the pretty pens and such that I have... I organized a "portable stationary" area... haha, just realized how funny that is!

Sunflowers!!!
My Grrrl pulled a sunflower head off of the stalk yesterday. We let it dry overnight. Tonight, I harvested the seeds. I have pics!
This is a quarter way through, when I thought I should get pics!
These are all the seeds that came from that GIANT head!
This is the poor dead head. :(
We can't really even eat these seeds, they are to small, but, the birds LOVE these plants. We are gonna plant them out the side of the house, where we can see the sunflowers from the side window... That'll be nice. Gonna clean the windows really well, I the spring that way we can see the birds well, maybe get some good pics next year. We saw turtle doves out there the other day. So cool! Maybe some bird attracting wildflowers, so we can get even more birds!
I'm by no means wanting to become a "bird watcher", but I do like watching birds...make sense? ;)

It is not my birthday any more! It is the day after! Marie pointed out that my birthday will indeed NOT be a holiday as I had thought, because of leap year.... Frickin lame! Lol
Today is a hang out day. I have worked on my family tree book. Lots of stuff to scan into the computer and send to Picasa, so I have it to put in my area to add to the powerpoint.
I am going to try and add some pages to the family tree blog, but the last time I did it wouldn't let me... Strange...
My Grrrl is working on my birthday painting. I have seen it, it is so gorgeous and it made me cry when I saw it. She knows me so well, she knows what I like, she knows what speaks to my soul. She is amazing! She painted on me...
I'm not smiling, because that picture was hard has heck to take! Lol
Well, back to reality tomorrow... :( For today, I am going to enjoy My Grrrl and my kiddos, and for dinner, my lasagna! Yum!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Robert and I baked French bread, not pretty, but yummy! Especially with cheese!
Now, the kids and I are watching Back To The Future, while My Grrrl paints my birthday painting. I miss her, but I can't wait to see that painting. She is AMAZING!
Later, she will make my birthday dinner, her famous lasagna! I am so spoiled today!
I finished Julie's tree! I'll take a pic!
I need to starch the ornaments down, then it ill be good. There is a trunk there, but you can't really see it against the dark green fabric underneath!
Well, time to get onto My Grrrl's blanket. I have been working on it for like 2 years now?! It will be done NEXT NEXT winter! We can cuddle under it then!
Here's to a great new year, devoid of drama and pain!

Today we went to see Nana, went to the library, and now we are home.
This morning I went to the garden and saw that okra has the most gorgeous flowers ever! I have pics!
Then, just now, I harvested 4 pods, I have pics!
I can't wait for Cara to make it, however it is you make it!
Tomorrow is my birthday! I am excited, but then again, just another day, right? My mother in law brought me roses and cupcakes! I just want to relax, I want it to rain, and I want everyone to be in a good mood!
Not sure what is for dinner tonight... Leftovers, but there aren't many... Pancakes, but do we have eggs? Being broke sucks ass!
Well, gonna go now, still working on my other mother in laws Yule gift, not sure how to approach the next step, lights on the tree, all crochet...
Should be interesting, I'll post pics!

Family Tree Update 9/3/11
Found a family tree book I started in Kentucky. That means that I had my Dad's help with it. It has lots of great stuff in it. I am very exited to start adding stuff on here! Ill try and add daily... I said try...

Tired today. Got up, took the boy to the bus, go milk, came home, watched The Banger Sisters, then Hoda and KathyLee, then fell asleep during some Star Trek, TNG marathon. My mother in law brought me pretty pink roses and some yummy cupcakes for my birthday on Sunday. Totally awesome! Last year was a bad birthday, and I am glad that this one is starring out better.
I am tired, and headachy now, and I don't want to go to work tonight, but I know I must... :( My Grrrl is gonna come with me, so that will make everything better. I am just tired, and I just want to sleep. I am already not looking forward to tomorrow, taking Cara to therapy, then going to see Nana, in the heat of the day, with no AC in the van, just seems like the hardest thing ever to do, but hopefully I will not feel that way tomorrow.
My tummy hurts, and I am having issues from last night that are still hanging around, not cool. I think that I will go lay down on My Grrrl, watch Alice In Wonderland, have her wake me at 9:00, then go get work out of the way.
I wish that I felt better, I wish that I was not so tired, and headachy, and tummy hurty too...I am sure that I will feel better once I get some water form work into me... Not sure why, but it is the best water in the world!
That is all for now, there is a hot chick who's lap I need to rest my head in... It's therapeutic!

Welcome to September! 3 days to my birthday! Cara did not go to school today. Took the boy to the bus, after a lovely breakfast of cinnamon toast, yum, and went back to bed.
Woke up, watched some TV with My Grrrl and had some lunch, just naming out now, we were watching the penie eater...
I found my old family tree book, and found that it had all kinds of stuff I didnt know it had! I cant wait to enter it into my power point on my work computer! Might even use iMovie to make a movie out of it! I love that app!
Well, I think that we are going to watch Limitless when My Grrrl gets back up here, I know I need to crochet, so bye for now!
