What a day! I learned how to set up a Webinar... Granted, Mario said that this one was simple, and that usually there are wrinkles! Figures that I would sit in on one that was EASY and trouble free!

I have joined another weight loss challenge in the Urgent Care! $25.00 buy in...
%5.0 of the money will be awarded at Halloween and the rest at the Christmas party... Interesting... Ill have to start taking what junk food I have hidden in the pantry over there and leave it in their break room each morning! Haha!

I have been working on my Yule book. I need to include a "movies to watch" list. Both, those that we have at home, and those that come on TV, and maybe some that we could find on Netflix, etc...
I just want a nice peaceful season this year. I want to be done with it all, but the mailing, by December 3rd. Maybe even the mailing too?

Well, I better end it here, much more to get done before I can call it a day!

Blessed Be!

Last night My Grrrl took me to get something to make me feel better. We went to Blue Eagle, and I got Reiki candles. I was not sure it was going to work at first, but if nothing else, I could sit quietly and think. Holy cow... I am not sur how long I sat there, but even Mini knew something was up, when there was a change in me, that I felt, she whined. She knew it too, it was not a scared whine, I feel... It was a good whine, if that makes sense...

Anyhow, time for a meeting, my bag is much lighter today...

I love you my darling...

Blessed Be!

Monday, September 24th, 2012

Still tired, now bummed too... Bad news last night...Sad news last night... My Grrrl took me out to take my mind off it. Donuts and coffee and cookie monster music! Helped in the moment. Blessed to have her in my life, heart and family! :)
Now, I just want to lay down and sleep.

Tonight, we are going to go for a walk, hopefully, that will get me back in the swing of things, to feel more energetic...

Blessed Be!

Monday, September 17th, 2012

It's Monday again. This weekend I had little to NO energy, and it is better today, but not much! I could curl up on the floor an sleep the rest of the day away!

The day started with my boss being here, even though she was not supposed to be. trying to get Kronos done, and she was all over the place! She signed off on people that were not done yet, and she was IM'ing me every 5 seconds! Hard to get anything done, when I have to stop, read and answer her!

Nonetheless, she is done and out of here, I have finished with a LARGE amount of billing and I am enjoying my left overs of pasta and steak!

I cannot wait to get home tonight and relax with My Grrrl. This weekend I felt so close to her, but like I could not get close enough!

Blessed Be!

Sunday, September 16th, 2012

Feel better than yesterday, but only enough to take my lunches for the week to work and get good ice! Soon, it will be back to bed, was watching my game, but that only makes me feel worse ;)

Having some intestinal distress, but Monday is Kronos day, so I cannot be out. Tuesday, my boss will be out for religious reasons...maybe I can be allowed to be sick by Wednesday? Lol!

Last night we had a lovely stew! Tonight, well, those kinds of things are ALWAYS better the second night, so I am excited, because it was pretty darn good last night! We are adding green chili to it tonight! Yum! I hope that I feel like eating by then! :/

Blessed Be!

Saturday, September 15th, 2012

Yesterday, Robert and I had to walk 1.8 miles from where the bus broke down to where My Grrrl picked us up. It was awesome! He and I were having a good time, nice talk, and we almost didn't want her to pick us up!
Then, My Grrrl and I went to Savers, found some sheets for use in her next blanket.
We were going to go to the parade this morning, but I was so tired, don't feel all that well. She didn't want to go either, but she was gong to because I wanted to go! How sweet... Anyhow, we both decided to go back to bed, an I am so glad we did. Even sitting here at the kitchen table, while she prepares things for the crock pot, I am beat!
To tired to crochet? To tired to be alive I think!
Rob is with my sister today, and the girls are on the couch watching Netflix. We are going to see Nana later, and then I am going back to bed!
Blessed Be!

THREE THINGS IN LIFE -

THINGS YOU CAN INFLUENCE

THINGS YOU CAN CHANGE

THINGS YOU CANNOT CHANGE, DEAL WITH

Freya's Day, September 14th, 2012

Last night was the candle lighting ceremony, "Honoring with candle light the spirits of the dead".

My Grrrl lite two. I lite three, one for my grandfather, one for my father, and one for my uncle Danny. It was nice. My grandfathers was the same color as I remember his pajamas being. My fathers was my favorite color, since he always wanted me to do what made me happy, he never told me what to do...Uncle Danny's was white, because I don't have any negative associated with him, he is pure in my eyes. Despite what my mom may try to tell me... Who cares if he smoked pot? If a war, I don't blame him, besides... Glass houses and all...

Anyhow, this morning, there were three Hot Air Balloons in the sky, there are usually some, more than today,or less... I always take them as a "hi" from one person or another, or no one in particular.today, I know it was them all saying thank you, or hello...

That makes me happy. No other "religion" has made me feel this way...

Blessed Be!

Middle English fridai
Old English frigedæg "Freya's day"
composed of Frige (genetive singular of Freo) + dæg "day" (most likely)

Freo is identical with freo, meaning free. It is from the Germanic frijaz meaning "beloved, belonging to the loved ones, not in bondage, free".

Freya (Fria) is the Teutonic goddess of love, beauty, and fecundity (prolific procreation). She is identified with the Norse god Freya. She is leader of the Valkyries and one of the Vanir. She is confused in Germany with Frigg.

Venus is the Roman goddess of love and beauty.

Aphrodite (Cytherea) is the Greek goddess of love and beauty.

Woden's Day, September 12th, 2012

What a crazy day! Stayed up late. Woke up early, got ready... Go out to leave early... FLAT TIRE... So flat that leaving it as it until I got home form work was not an option. Called AAA. They came, changed the tire. Then, as luck would have it, my sister saw my post on Facebook and offered to drive us to the bus stop. Still made it to work earlier than normal, but not as early as I had hoped. I am proud to say that I think that I handled it well.

First of all, when I went out the first time. I saw the moon's reflection in our bedroom window, the one that faces the courtyard, it was very pretty, as if the moon was greeting me. That was nice!
I didn't panic, I did think about just calling in, but couldn't do that, not in my own head at least... I did say a little louder than I would have liked
"You've got to be kidding me!!!"

Anyhow, I got to work in plenty of time to take minutes at the meeting, and I was able to get my flu shot. I cut my finger on a fish hook when I was getting the tire out, so I have an appt in 25 minutes to get my tetanus and my pertussis vaccine. Not looking forward to that... Those hurt more and I already got the flu in my right arm, which I would think that means that I cannot get the other shot there, and you should get that shot in an arm that you move a lot, to help the soreness... Oh bother! Oh well, me and My Grrrl are going to go swimming tonight, AFTER we get the tire fixed.... Send positive thoughts that it doesn't break me to take care of it!

Blessed Be!

Middle English wodnesday, wednesday, or wednesdai
Old English wodnesdæg "Woden's day"
Latin dies Mercurii "day of Mercury"
Ancient Greek hemera Hermu "day of Hermes"

Woden is the chief Anglo-Saxon/Teutonic god. Woden is the leader of the Wild Hunt. Woden is from wod "violently insane" + -en "headship". He is identified with the Norse Odin.

Mercury is the Roman god of commerce, travel, thievery, eloquence and science. He is the messenger of the other gods.

Hermes is the Greek god of commerce, invention, cunning, and theft. He is the messenger and herald of the other gods. He serves as patron of travelers and rogues, and as the conductor of the dead to Hades.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Friday evening there was drama. Long story short, My Grrrls brother can be a DB! Mostly at his wife's command.

Saturday, the kids and I went over to my sisters house to clean, and clean, and clean... We spent 5.5 hours, and I am STILL SORE!!!! Saturday night, My Grrrl and I went out to explore the new(er) Goodwill. It was not anything to writ home about. Not very impressive at all! Then, to dinner at Denny's. I didn't finish even half of my food and I WAS STUFFED! Then, we went to the Spirit store. I cannot believe that I have never been in one of those! It was awesome!

Sunday, the kids and I went to visit Nana when we dropped Cara off at work. We watched the Bears game, they won! We watched the Broncos game that evening, they won too.

Tried to go to bed early, but I never can seem to pull that off! LOL

This weekend, I did step, and I did clean, but I have my cycle right now, and I feel so run down. Maybe there is a 4th week into a diet plunge and that is what is wrong with me?! Why do I refuse to believe that CLEANING all day is kicking my butt so badly!?

Anyhow, not it is Monday, and I am having my lunch! Trying to have a healthy LITE meal... The spinach garden wrap has 210 calories! The cheese is light, so it is like 60 calories, and the 93% lean meat (with taco seasoning and onions) the best that I can guess, is like 300 something calories! So much for lite! Heathy, yes, lite, NOT SO MUCH!

I did work on my crochet over the weekend. Got back into the blanket that I am making for My Grrrl. I have decided that I am going to try VERY hard to get it done THIS SEASON (as in Football season!)

I feel like I have more to say, but I really can't think of anything to say.... I am mentally worn out as well as physically!

Blessed Be!

OMG, this meeting is dragging on and on. There is still 1:45 in this meeting. I am so tired, and my legs are killing me! That is good that I stepped so much that the back of my calves are screaming. I think that it is from the stepping forward from the platform...

I am tired, I have not started my cycle, and I have never said this before, but I am wishing that I would start, because then I will get over this and get back to normal. I also have that PMS "I'm starving" thing going on. I also have the "I have PMS, I deserve this piece of indian bread with swiss cheese on it!"...

I know that we are not going to swim tonight, and I doubt that a walk is in our future... Tomorrow I am going to help my sister get her house ready to move back in... I think that tonight, I will go to bed early, EARLY, and start fresh tomorrow. Hoping that I am not dragging tomorrow!

Blessed Be!

Our Misfits

Thursday, September 6th, 2012

Last night the Cowboys beat the Giants! WOOHOO!

Last night, we had a frozen pizza. I cannot eat like that anymore! I also had Pita chips and Laughing Cow Light Swiss! YUMMY! Then, after dinner, instead of watching the game, because we do better when I don't watch, I stepped. My Grrrl fixed the step thing that my sister gave the kids and I use, stole, whatever... it was in my office, and then it broke, so yesterday My Grrrl picked me, and it up, and she fixed it, and I stepped my tush off! I made myself sick actually.

This morning, I got up early and I didn't feel like going down to do The Biggest Looser, so I stepped in our room, in the dark, not in as much silence as I had hoped, but I tried to keep it down... My Grrrl woke up at one point, but she said it was not me that woke her, but she was not sure what the noise was... I only did 30 minutes, and since I did not push myself, I only credited myself 25 minutes.

Just the difference between that little Wii board, and the, what 3 inches, on the stepper, KICKED MY BOOTY!!!

I weighed myself this morning... I am happy to say that I am the same as I was on weigh in on Sunday morning. That is good because I pigged out this weekend! Splurged for my birthday, the ENTIRE WEEKEND, just about!

I need to ramp up the exercise, and slow down on the junk food! Back to the healthy food!

Anyhow, that is all for now, I forgot my scarf templet at home, I hope, and I am not sure how many lines of blue to do... I also got WAY MORE done on the bus than I thought that I would, so I won't have any to do on the bus. Oh well. If I have to, I will print a new templet, if I can find one that matches what I have started. Not a big deal if it really does... It is a Dr. Who scarf, I have not seen two same patterns, and from what I can tell, it doesn't really matter!  Different Dr.'s, different scarves! LOL!

My allergy eyes are bugging me... I am feeling more energetic today than yesterday, but less than I wish I was...I think that if we go swimming tonight, that would go a LONG way to getting back on level... Even a walk would be nice, especially if it rains tonight! Not in the foothills if it rains!

Blessed Be!

Wednesday, September 5th, 2012

Well, yesterday I had a lovely birthday. My Grrrl took me out to lunch at Little Anita's. Yummy! Then we went to Saver's and shopped. I found an awesome outfit! :) Then over to Target to get a movie and power strip for Gramma. Went to see Gramma. We didn't go swimming, we wussed out. :( More like, tired out!

We watched Five Year Engagement. It was good, it had Emily Blunt in it, so I love it...it was kind of predictable, and not as good as I hoped, but it was a Romantic Comedy, and I am more of a Harry Potter, Hunger Games kinda girl I have come to realize!

Today, life, and all that goes along with it, is kickin' my butt. I have a small Red Bull in my fridge, but I am too bloated right now to drink it!

I have been plugging away at work stuff, but most of it is so mindless that I have been able to watch an episode and a half of Voyager. Lovin' this show!

My poor boss has had a really hard few weeks and last night was the worst of it for her. I feel so sorry for her, and I want to beat up the person that is causing her pain... I am somewhat worried about her as well...Leaving an abusive relationship is always the most dangerous part, and this guy may not have hit her (yet) but he is abusive. She deserves better and while I am not among her close friends, I hope that she knows that I am here for her...

My Grrrl told me that she signed up to be a foster family for dogs today. I have to admit that while I am a bit hesitant about messes, I am more hesitant about getting attached to the little stinkers! I am excited more than anything. This will change things up, on a somewhat regular basis it seems! Once the kids are gone, we can foster more and more. Especially if we live in a nice place out kinda far in the country!

Well, I better get back to it!

Blessed Be!

The Day After Labor Day!

This weekend was very productive. I had a minor meltdown on Friday night. Saturday we went to go see Nana that was nice :-) . That afternoon and evening we rearranged our bedroom! We got to have Dion's for dinner because we really earned it!

Sunday and Monday we mostly rested. I got a little bit of crochet done. All in all it was a nice weekend.

We had a birthday party at my moms house on Sunday. She served little laughing cow cheese and crackers with Apple and vegetables. It was very nice!
Oh , yeah, and today is my birthday. My wonderful wife is picking me up early and we are going to lunch together! Wonderful!

Blessed Be!
