Took Cara back to the Dr today. She is going to have surgery on the 30th... I am nervous, I don't really know why, I know that everything will be OK. I trust the doctor. I trust the system. I think that mostly I am worried about work, and the pile of stuff that will await me upon my return! I think that I will ask my boss if I can come in at night for a few hours, to catch up. I am sure that she will allow it and that way I can work unencumbered... I can also work from home, but I have limited resources there...
Tonight we feast on steak, I am just waiting on all the kids to get here so we can leave! LOL!
Tomorrow we go see the vampires, I mean the blood donation place! LOL!
Working on, thus unnamed crochet projects. I have decided that I like the double crochet by far the most!
Marie came home last night, and already is stepping on toes! Gonna have to nip that in the bud!
OH! I forgot! We are going to try and sleep outside tonight! Woohoo! Well, we will see, I might just feel like laying out there until tired, then going to bed where the TV is! We have an early morning tomorrow anyhow... UGH... Beginning to dislike the weekends... More work on the weekends than at work! LOL

Hot flashes and cold flashes, for lack of what better to call them... Can't seem to regulate my temperature today... Hungry, but when I eat, my tummy burns... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME?!
It's either "the change" or PMS, either way, it is all the same to blame...
Listening to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on my iPad.
Tomorrow, Cara has her appointment to see the doctor again. Her cyst is back, as big as ever.Only had it drained like 3 weeks ago. I need to double check on that, but I think it was only 3 weeks...OK, it was 4 weeks ago, either way, it is back... My Grrrl is going to go with me, that is awesome! I like it when she is there too! I am going to work first, and then they will pick me up for the appointment, that way I get some stuff done before I go.
Lovin' the website that I made, but I have not had much time to work on it, again, no iPad access, and the home computer is SO SLOW! I think that I will have the kids come up with ideas, and then we can get them implemented this weekend, we will come by the office to do so?
Marie comes home tonight, I am going to get her, it will be late, and I will be tired, but it is almost the weekend, so it will be OK. Maybe there is another day in bed in my future!?
Friday night, we are going to sleep on the futon in the courtyard, weather permitting!
Nothing much exciting going on lately. Lots of Yule preparations planned and in the works, and I am feeling better now, than when I started... Animal Crackers make EVERYTHING better!
My Grrrl took some awesome pics of the hummingbirds that live in our Ash tree, and I think it is of the one that guards the feeder, and chases all the others off! I loe our courtyard!
Well, I guess that is it then..

Started a website! Neato bandito! Not much to talk about now, but as as I think that there is a blog option, I might be moving this blog over there. That remains to be seen. Ohhh, spooky, I was typing that as it was being read in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Now, what remains to be seen is... Do I listen to Harry Potter so much that I knew that was coming, or is it just a harry kinda coincidence?
School started yesterday... Cara seems to like her classes, maybe? Robert had a bus related mishap, but it should be all straightened out now.
Not much to write about... My Grrrl is trying to stop smoking. Hard thing to do, I can't even give up soda... UGH!
I have been doing some crocheting for Christmas, etc.
We have to get the car to the repair shop tonight, since it has to be there tomorrow, but I cannot be late to help get it there. I think that we might just cheat and have it towed. We do have to get gas, but that doesn't mean we can't have it towed too...
My garage is a mess...
My niece is coming over today...
My oldest will be back tomorrow night...

We went for a walk last night, and that was nice. Well,. kinda. My Grrrl is in with drawl, so she is grumpy, understandably so, I just smile and try to remember that it is not personal, and in the end, all will be well, all will be better than it was. She will not be a smoker anymore, and I will not be a second hand smoker anymore!
I was thinking about it this morning, and when you stop drugs or drinking, you are a recovering user of that item. Why doesn't anyone speak of smoking in the same way? I mean, it is addictive. and it is hard as hell to quit, so why are ex-smokers called "recovering smokers"? Well, I am going to start calling it that.. I'm going to post it on Face book right now, that will get it going! LOL
OK, back to work!

Garden Update!
Harvested our first Sunflower Head yesterday, maybe a bit prematurely, but nonetheless!
Grapes are turning purple, now they just need to get BIG! They smell so good. Like nothing else in the world, and like nothing I can describe!
Pumpkins were getting killed by squash beetles... We got some stuff my mother in law suggested, seems to have worked! I pruned away the vines that were not producing yet, a bit late at this point, right?! Now, you can REALLY see what is actually out there! There are like 15 of them! AWESOME! Plenty for us, and our niece.
Robert go into Home Ec., so maybe he can take one or two to class!
I want to throw the "guts" into the are next to the garage, that way we can grow the pumpkins there next year. They TOOK OVER in the actually garden!
We have some okra pods. Not sure how to know when they are ready, not sure what to do when we pick em, but there they are, and there you have it!
Let's see, My Grrrl did the carpets last week, bless her! She did some rearranging too, living room looks great, so does the bedroom. We stayed in bed for 90% of the day yesterday, that was AWESOME!!
I have been working on Yule gifts... I know it is kinda early, for mere mortals, but for me... I am behind schedule! I want to sew next weekend, not any at night on weeknights, we are starting walking tonight... I am giving up soda, maybe slowly, but I have not had one yet, I have had tea. Bigger, and harder, My Grrrl is giving up smoking today. GO BABY! I am so proud of her, and happy! I know that it will b hard, and I am going to try VERY hard to be supportive and strong for her.
Well, lunch is over now, back to it. I have so much in my head, that I cannot contain it all. It is like there are tons pf pretty butterflies in a room where the window has a torn screen, They just keep making me say "Ahh, pretty", then flying away!

Where has the time gone?
Well, it has been 11 days now since I last blogged... What in the world? Well, I can say this, it has been really busy at work. It has been really busy at home too. With My Grrrls car getting stolen, and all ofnthe rigamarole involved in that... Wow, rigamarole is a world that my iPad recognized! Who knew!
Today is Saturday, we, are expecting a bed delivery soon, a twin with a trundle, from My Grrrls uncle. We will move the futon couch out of Marie's room, and into the courtyard. We will have an outdoor living room for a few months, and again in the fall. I plan to spend time out there each night!
Heck, I might sleep out there tonight!
Going to see Nana, and take Cara to therapy. Hope that I don't get called in, it is not my therapy, it is her....
Kids start school on Tuesday! Woohoo! My boss will be out of town on Friday, and I think that I will see if I can get My Grrrl to come hang out with me, and finish my filing cabinet!
I think I might start a website. I saw some neat stuff on About.com! We will just see.I also want to do the power point family tree like Marie was doing. With pictures, and more dates, but her idea, and how she was going about it, super neat idea!

Well, it is reprupose or die day... My garage has been repurposed into my sewing room. Last night we got a table from My Grrls Gramma, that will be repuposed as a cutting table. Totally awesome. It has a leaf in it, so it has a line that I can use to make straight cuts! I was even thinking about how to add a tape measure in such a way that when the leaf is in and when it is out, it is still accurate. I am still working on that.
Last night was Lammas. Not exactly sure what that is, and I am kinda embarrassed by that... I just know that it was the bread holiday! We got bread and cheese last night, and it was good. My eyes were bigger than my tummy, partially, I think, because I am getting a cold, despite the good fight, I think that My Grrrl and I both are... :( Lame!
Yesterday I found an email from her that shall not be named in my spam, from over a week ago. Haha, I spammed her! I wouldn't have even found it if I had not been looking for my Pottermore information. That still bugs me that I cannot remember it and cannot find it! UGH
Then last night, there were phone calls from her. I do not want her invading our lives anymore. I try my best to not let it get to me, to put on a brave front, smile, fight the good fight... Don't let her in anymore than she was. She has been banished, she needs to stay banished.
I have been fighting against feelings of resentment about the past months. My Grrrl feels like she was used to get to me. I feel like I was used by My Grrrl to get to her. I hate that I feel that way, and I am trying to fight it. I think that I know logically that is not it. I mean, I don't think that is what she intended, but nonetheless, that is how I feel, and that is my current struggle. I have a hard time talking to My Grrl about it because she gets into a funk when we talk about this kind of stuff, so that is why I vent it here. I need to get it off my chest, not necessarily talk to her about it, because other than her telling me that is not the case, I don't see what more she can do besides love me, which she does... :)
Well, I guess that is it. My head hurts, I am full of snot and my eyes are itchy! even if it is just allergies, it sucks!
I can't wait for this day to be over! Home to My Grrl, My Love, My Soulmate... :)

Monday August 1st, 2011... HOLY CRAP, WHERE HAVE I BEEN???
Almost seems like I dropped off the face of the planet? LOL... Thursday, my 12 year old son came to work with me. That was interesting. Friday, I flew solo, and it seems like I had a ton of stuff on my plate. Saturday, we went to see Nana, and then came home for the hotel extravaganza... It was fun... but only because we MADE it be fun! LOL!
We got there and the rooms were not ready. Finally, they were after an hour. The pool was broken, the whole reason for the picking of that locale... :( I asked for the wifi code, free, since the pool was broken. I got it, reluctantly... My Grrrl and I brought a DVD player so we could watch movies, no way to hook it up to their TV, even after a trip home to get more cords, and such! Basicest of the basic cable... We did have a yummy Dion's dinner and the kids had fun. My Grrrl and I took a bath. We played Mahjong on my iPad most of the night. I crashed, not sure what time, late considering that we said we were gonna stay up all night.
Sunday, we relaxed, no napping as I'd hoped, we were antsy. Marie's party from 6 to 8. I found my old attempt at a family tree. Started in 1996...HOLY CRAP!!! Pretty cool. I'm going to use it as a jumping off point! Marie showed me a really cool thing she did on power point, so I am going to steal that idea! Cara mentioned having family tree trading cards. I think that is a good idea. I think that I have heard of that before. I would not even know how to go about doing that! On a budget at least!
Anyhow, Monday is foto fun? I don't have anything! Ill see what I have later, maybe post something, to be perfectly honest, it has been to hot to do anything. Motivation is low for me in the summer. Planning is high, follow through is not! LOL
Back to the grindstone now!
