It is not my birthday any more! It is the day after! Marie pointed out that my birthday will indeed NOT be a holiday as I had thought, because of leap year.... Frickin lame! Lol

Today is a hang out day. I have worked on my family tree book. Lots of stuff to scan into the computer and send to Picasa, so I have it to put in my area to add to the powerpoint.

I am going to try and add some pages to the family tree blog, but the last time I did it wouldn't let me... Strange...

My Grrrl is working on my birthday painting. I have seen it, it is so gorgeous and it made me cry when I saw it. She knows me so well, she knows what I like, she knows what speaks to my soul. She is amazing! She painted on me...



I'm not smiling, because that picture was hard has heck to take! Lol

Well, back to reality tomorrow... :( For today, I am going to enjoy My Grrrl and my kiddos, and for dinner, my lasagna! Yum!

ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Robert and I baked French bread, not pretty, but yummy! Especially with cheese!



Now, the kids and I are watching Back To The Future, while My Grrrl paints my birthday painting. I miss her, but I can't wait to see that painting. She is AMAZING!

Later, she will make my birthday dinner, her famous lasagna! I am so spoiled today!

I finished Julie's tree! I'll take a pic!



I need to starch the ornaments down, then it ill be good. There is a trunk there, but you can't really see it against the dark green fabric underneath!

Well, time to get onto My Grrrl's blanket. I have been working on it for like 2 years now?! It will be done NEXT NEXT winter! We can cuddle under it then!

Here's to a great new year, devoid of drama and pain!

Today we went to see Nana, went to the library, and now we are home.
This morning I went to the garden and saw that okra has the most gorgeous flowers ever! I have pics!


Then, just now, I harvested 4 pods, I have pics!


I can't wait for Cara to make it, however it is you make it!

Tomorrow is my birthday! I am excited, but then again, just another day, right? My mother in law brought me roses and cupcakes! I just want to relax, I want it to rain, and I want everyone to be in a good mood!

Not sure what is for dinner tonight... Leftovers, but there aren't many... Pancakes, but do we have eggs? Being broke sucks ass!

Well, gonna go now, still working on my other mother in laws Yule gift, not sure how to approach the next step, lights on the tree, all crochet...
Should be interesting, I'll post pics!

Family Tree Update 9/3/11

Found a family tree book I started in Kentucky. That means that I had my Dad's help with it. It has lots of great stuff in it. I am very exited to start adding stuff on here! Ill try and add daily... I said try...

Tired today. Got up, took the boy to the bus, go milk, came home, watched The Banger Sisters, then Hoda and KathyLee, then fell asleep during some Star Trek, TNG marathon. My mother in law brought me pretty pink roses and some yummy cupcakes for my birthday on Sunday. Totally awesome! Last year was a bad birthday, and I am glad that this one is starring out better.

I am tired, and headachy now, and I don't want to go to work tonight, but I know I must... :( My Grrrl is gonna come with me, so that will make everything better. I am just tired, and I just want to sleep. I am already not looking forward to tomorrow, taking Cara to therapy, then going to see Nana, in the heat of the day, with no AC in the van, just seems like the hardest thing ever to do, but hopefully I will not feel that way tomorrow.

My tummy hurts, and I am having issues from last night that are still hanging around, not cool. I think that I will go lay down on My Grrrl, watch Alice In Wonderland, have her wake me at 9:00, then go get work out of the way.

I wish that I felt better, I wish that I was not so tired, and headachy, and tummy hurty too...I am sure that I will feel better once I get some water form work into me... Not sure why, but it is the best water in the world!

That is all for now, there is a hot chick who's lap I need to rest my head in... It's therapeutic!

Welcome to September! 3 days to my birthday! Cara did not go to school today. Took the boy to the bus, after a lovely breakfast of cinnamon toast, yum, and went back to bed.

Woke up, watched some TV with My Grrrl and had some lunch, just naming out now, we were watching the penie eater...

I found my old family tree book, and found that it had all kinds of stuff I didnt know it had! I cant wait to enter it into my power point on my work computer! Might even use iMovie to make a movie out of it! I love that app!

Well, I think that we are going to watch Limitless when My Grrrl gets back up here, I know I need to crochet, so bye for now!
