Now, Robert and I are watching Angels & Demons. Then, dinner, just he and I, brinner, that is...

Well, it has been almost a month since I did this experiment, but I am posting it now, mostly because I want to get the pictures out of my iPad!

The vessel, ready for the oven, this time it has water in it. Just to see how hot it gets...

Same thing, different day, in a black bag... The black bag didn't work as well.

The vessel in the clear bag, this should be a few steps up, but I cannot rearrange the pictures...

This is the vessel, I just wanted to heat water. This is a candy thermometer, but it is what I had... The water was at 100 degrees. Not bad for an early spring day.

So, this is what I have learned...It has to be hot for this to work, and that is great in the summer, to save on using the inside oven, that would heat up the house, and make the need for eh AC even higher... But, in a survival mode, in the winter... This will not help. We are boned! LOL

Next, we work on a Hobo Stove!

So drained today. I have been dragging all day. I did some Ancestry today, but I keep running into  doubles. Grrr. Doesn't help that I am drained!

 

Tonight is a new Big Bang Theory! I am very excited about that. Tonight is also the last night I get to sleep with My Grrrl for two weeks. NOT excited about that. I guess that I will have to make it count, go to be early, and cuddle like crazy.

 

That is all for now, have to close down shop and head home.

Crazy busy start to the day. The day has calmed down, that is good. The weather was super yucky this morning, but it is not so bad now. Still not nice enough for an April day,and certainly not compared to what this weekend was like!

 

I am eager to go home and rest with My Grrrl. Watch a little TV with the family and then off to bed. It was nice, last night, when I was cold, and My Grrrl covered my up with the lead blanket... She always takes such good care of me!

 

Anyhow, time to get back to work, there is still a sizeable list of things that need my attention.

 

I have not had the drive to work on Ancestry this week, I think that is because I have been running into doubles, and the fact that My Grrrl will be gone for 2 weeks, in which time I can work on it in the living room, while the kiddos use their hour on the TV or computer, and I don't have to worry about ignoring My Grrrl, PLUS, my super awesome boss is going to be gone at the same tie as My Grrrl, and it seems I have more time to fill when she is gone, so I will work on it while she is gone, while THEY are gone, and I should be able to make a big dent!

Spent the weekend doing stuff around the house. Allergies, or some bug is getting Me & My Grrrl down.

 

I did not do any Ancestry this weekend, I plan to do a lot of it when My Grrrl is gone, I will have the time...

 

I planted Lettuce, Spinach, Peas and Cucumbers yesterday. I also planted Butter Wild flowers in the side year by the garage. I cannot wait for them to come up. I wish that are was cleaner in general... We need to come up with a better way to save the recycling...

 

That is all for today,I have a TON of billing. I was looking at billing, just being glad to know that soon it would not be mine to do anymore... Today I learned that the leasing of the providers will not occur after all, and so the billing will continue to be mine. So, still own the billing, and there will be more coming, AND we have to build a whole new billing sheet for all of the new stuff that needs to be on it...

Grrr...

 

Anyhow, I better get back to the mountain of billing!
