Haven't Blogged In A Few Days

I've been crazy busy at work, and at home. Not always good, but busy. Going on vacation in the morning, probably won't blog again till wednesday. Have a safe 4th of July.

Another day in paradise. Only if you smile and make people believe that, right?

This weekend sucked, today there is still a hng over from it, on ALL parts. And there are still lingering resentments? questions? Anxities? Unpsetednesses? All I know is that there is a funk and I don't understand why it is still there? I thought that things were resolved, but it would seem not...I hate this and I am worried that this will follow us on vacation. She says she is a "good actress". How then, I am supposed to know that that is not what I am getting? Because she will tell me so, and I must work hard to have faith in her, and in our love and lives together. So, I will, because I must. It is not easy, and I feel like poop. I know that She does too. That sucks, who wants to be sick on vacation? Ugh.

Anyhow, time to start clearing out for the day...Not much to blog. Today is foto day? I have some awesome pics from the fire in the Bosque. I will post those seperatly, later.

That is all for now...
Oh, I made some skirts, I will post pics of those for re purpose or die day, because they are made out of scraps, and TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Haven't blogged since Wednesday. My Grrrl went out Thursday, so did I, separately...Friday was a long day, doctors appointment for Cara, work, came home, bad bad bad bad rest of the night. Ended on a GREAT note. Saturday Was, on and off. Didn't get to sew. Bad evening. Today is Sunday, I got to sleep in, for me... I got up a sewed, made 3 skirts! Now. I am. Back in bed with My Grrrl, watching Planet 51, munching on pretzels, and just tying to stay cool in advance of today's drive to Socorro to take Cara to tech, UGH, I hate the effing heat!

Today WILL be a better day, it has to be, I don't think that any of us could take another bad day...

Got up early. Got moving early. Thought that the 620 bus would be nice and empty... WRONG, lol!
I can't believe how many people don't want to sit next to someone else, and how many sit on the outside so they are taking up two seats. Oh well.

Almost to work now. Long day ahead of me. Yesterday was the summer solstice. We planned to have fire-time and havenYvette over. Maybe she has figured it out now? Either way, that didn't happen. Nice quiet night. :)
I carefully picked music for my iPad. Still hear songs i don't wanna hear!

FOUND EM'

These pics are from way back in 2006, I think. In was hot one night, to hot to be allowed. So I took a white sheet from the cabinet and made this "dress". I wore the heck outta that thing! Even had one of My Grrrls friends ask me to make her one... I did it too, outta Harry Potter sheets. It wasn't as good as mine, since, as this blog points out...all my best creations are by accident!

Anyhow, here goes my attempt at attaching them!
There we go...know what's funny? my Grrrl will probably be able to tell when this was taken, based on the room decor! Thats My Grrrl!!!

Let's see. My scarecrow fell over and smooshed some corn stalks... That sucks, stoopid wind.

Not much has gone on, My Grrrl and I re purposed some clothes from Good Will... Haha, that is fancy talk for I got a dress at Good Will! I got a sheet to make a dress. Won't be something that I can wear to work, but I have to get good before I can make those kinds of sheet dresses! haha! It's a long way from the sheet dress that I made way back in like 2006. I'll see if I can find a picture.

So, not much on the re purposing front. Let's see, we use the pool water to water the plants when we switch the water. I know that we should not switch the water very often, usually once a week, but that filter doesn't do that much against the 6 sometimes 7 to 8 of us, and sun screen, etc!

I want to sew this weekend, OH WAIT! I have one... I got an old book at good will... Fodor's Scandinavia 1974. I was born in 74, and I am going to re purpose it into a sort of journal. I got this idea from lots of sources. I am going to make 100 1 minute stories, or I might tweek that too, the name I mean. Anyhow, I have stickers that won't get used anywhere else, I have song lyrics and such, I am going to write and paste and sew, yes sew, right into the book. Hoping that it will take a year. Maybe that will be my goal. Each week for a y ear to do "something" in the book, and see where it and I am at the end of a year! There you go...See you in a year with the book, I'll be back here before that, I hope!
