Cara is doing well, still in pain. My Grrl and I watched a movie, The Priest... Took all day to watch it, since there were MANY interruptions! Good movie. :)

Tonight Robert cooks, and then to Grammas to look at stuff before it goes to goodwill, then to work, then home...what a day!

Not much to write, I harvested some grapes to try and use, oh, then we found mold on our first crop, lame...



Think it's from my opening it once...lame...gonna try again!

Cara is OK.

Surgery is over. She did great. Doctor is awesome!


We are home now, Cara was loopy, and it was hilarious! Getting ready to lay down for a while, then get the boy from the bus, then homework and dinner, and tonight back to work for a few hours, just to check some stuff...

Things that I know I took care of today were all messed up..but I need t verify that I did do it right after all..I wonder if the email proof that I have have been deleted by the sender, so my proof is gone? I'll start printing stuff if that is the case...

Woke up at 4:00. Had a strange, yet good dream. Don't remember much, other than that it was in Texas, there were evil forces to defeat in Cara's name, and I did... Think that has to do with her surgery?! Oh yeah, there was group dancing! WTH?

Cant get back to sleep, and now I am hungry to boot. Gonna get up soon and get going, I guess...

I might blog more, I might not... Just depends on how much my mother pisses me off today...

Just a note... Bedroom window is open, and I'm pretty sure there is a pissed off skunk at the golf course... Eeeewwwwwwww!

I took some pictures of our "wine in progress" this morning. I have been shaking the container when in think about it, to get the juices flowing!



Might not be the best idea? But last time we did it, it was an accident, so...

Anyhow, I have been up for 5 hours now, and it is barely 9:45, ugh!
Tomorrow is Cara's surgery. Hope they call soon with the time, that will be something that we know, one less unknown. I am nervous, but not as nervous as I know I will be tomorrow. I also know she will be fine, and I should look at this as a nice unplanned minivaca!

Cara's surgery is Tuesday. I feel guilty about missing work, but i
I am coming to terms with it!

Today, I weeded the garden, broke down some firewood, twigs mostly, made them small enough to fit in the fire place...cleaned the back patio...worked my butt off, oh yeah, I made banana bread and muffins... YUM!!!

My Grrrl and I went to Wal-Mart, and hung out for a while... That was nice. Now, we have cleaned the kitchen, and set out the food, and await the arrival of our guests, for what I am beginning to feel is a misguided idea of family togetherness...hhhhmmmmmmpppppphhhhhh.... I am sure in about an hour I will be thinking "what was I thinking?"

Anyhow, that is all for now, big long week ahead, please forgive if I don't blog much...

Grapes have been harvested...not all, not even 1/4! Taken off of the vine, put in an airtight container...now we play the waiting game... Not sure how long we wait. I cant remember, because last time it was an accident...Hence the label, "Fu*k It, Let's Make Wine!" That is what we said when we found the fermented grapes...

So, that is just an update. We are not going out to dinner after all, change of plans, for the best...gonna work on sewing issues in the garage. If it wasn't so danm hot, we could have fire-time, but it's to hot! Can't wait for fall!

It's gonna be a long day! Nana's, library, home to clean for tomorrow, I want to start a sewing project for Yule, and then dinner with My Grrrl, a co-worker and his wife. Nervous about that one, I wanna back out, but I also don't...
